Eventually the traditions of a community of believers settle on what would be regarded as scripture. Isn’t that what we do with out secular laws? We make them. We may or may not obey them. But we make them. How do these laws, whether regarded as ascripture, myth or secular law come to be treated as the sacred word of God when we do not even know what God is or wants. “Where Is God” explores this problem by pointing out that it is always a human being who claims a piece of paper or a phrase comes from God. God has yet to bothered to tell us what God’s word is.
